Boyd Scholarship

The Boyd Scholarship Fund is named in honor of Orvel and Mildred Boyd, who provided decades of service to this institution.

Mildred and Orvel Boyd

Orvel Boyd served as President of Christian Home & Bible School from 1952 to 1981. Mildred began her career as a teacher and also served as Elementary Principal. An annual Boyd Scholarship Dinner is held each year on campus. Since the first dinner in 1982, this fund has provided financial assistance to more than 470 deserving students. The fund has grown to more than $550,000, providing annual scholarships of $2,500 to $3,500 per student.
