Clubs & Activities
Find Your Place. Get Involved.
At MDCA, some of the best connections happen when students come together around shared interests, service, and leadership. Clubs and organizations give students opportunities to explore their interests, build friendships, develop new skills, and make a difference on campus and beyond.
Opportunities to Get Involved
Students can choose from a variety of clubs and activities based on their interests and grade level.
National Beta Club
National Beta has been a part of student life at MDCA for more than 50 years. The school's Senior Beta Club was chartered in 1975, followed by Junior Beta in 1981 and Elementary Beta in 2017. Today, students in grades 4-12 can participate in a program centered on academic achievement, character, leadership, and service.
Membership is earned. Students must maintain a minimum 3.4 GPA, demonstrate good character and behavior, and complete Beta-designated community service each year.
Leading & Serving
Service is an important part of the Beta experience at MDCA. Throughout the year, members support local organizations and community events, lead campus-wide service projects and collections, and find practical ways to serve others.
MDCA students also participate in Florida Beta conventions, competing in areas ranging from academics and the arts to technology and team events. Over the years, MDCA students have served in state leadership positions, including Senior and Junior State of Florida presidents and other state offices.
Through each experience, students are challenged to use their abilities not only to achieve, but also to lead and serve.
