Extended Care & Enrichment Clubs

At MDCA, we are committed to providing quality enrichment in a safe, Christ-centered environment outside of school hours.

Enrichment Clubs

Enrichment Clubs are scheduled extracurricular classes where students can receive advanced academic instruction, get extra help with homework assignments, or discover new hobbies, interests, and activities that go above and beyond what is possible in the traditional school classroom. Enrichment gives children opportunities to try new and varied activities that may not strictly fit into the curriculum, but that develop character, resilience, and motivation, and encourage them to pursue wider goals. These activities allow students to design, create, and learn without limits.  

Each club will report to the dining hall after school. They will be provided a snack and then released to the club leader at 3 p.m. (Wednesdays at 2 p.m.). You will pick up your child from the dining hall at 4 p.m. (3 p.m. on Wednesdays). Please bring ID with you for pickup. You will pick up from club assigned table in the dining hall, please don't forget to sign them out. If your child needs to stay at aftercare AFTER their enrichment club, you will be charged for aftercare. 

Each club has limited seats. We will take first-come, first-served. You will be notified if your child gets moved to the waitlist. If you don't hear from us, it means your child is enrolled in the club, and you will be charged in your parent portal. There will be no refunds for missed days of the club sessions. 

All clubs are subject to cancellation if at least 10 students are not enrolled by the start date. You will be notified if the club is cancelled. Clubs are open to Grades K-5. 

Extended Care

Before School Care (K-5):

• Offered from 7 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. when school is in session
• $5 per day or $25 per week ($6 per day or $30 per week beginning 8/2026)

After School Care (K-8):

• Offered from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. when school is in session
• $17 per day ($20 per day beginning 8/2026)
• A charge of $1 per minute will be incurred for any students remaining after 6 p.m. 

Drop-in Care:

If you need drop-in care for your child, please notify Shea-Leah Addenbrooke via email and your child's teacher.

Register for Extended Care

After School Policy:

Students whose parents have requested that their child attend aftercare or clubs will go to aftercare at dismissal, which is 2:50 p.m. (1:50 on Wednesdays).

No other students will be allowed to go to aftercare before the dismissal carline has ended until the parent has notified their child's teacher or the elementary office.   

Any student not picked up in the regular carline will be taken to aftercare when carline is over.  Your FACTS accounts will be charged the daily rate once a student is scanned into aftercare.
