Enrichment Clubs

Enrichment Clubs are scheduled extracurricular classes where students can receive advanced academic instruction, get extra help with homework assignments, or discover new hobbies, interests, and activities that go above and beyond what is possible in the traditional school classroom. Enrichment gives children opportunities to try new and varied activities that may not strictly fit into the curriculum, but that develop character, resilience, and motivation, and encourage them to pursue wider goals. These activities allow students to design, create, and learn without limits.  

Each club will report to the dining hall after school. They will be provided a snack and then released to the club leader at 3:30pm (Wednesdays 2:30). You will pick up your child from the dining hall at 4:30 p.m. (3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays). Please bring ID with you for pickup. You will pick up from club assigned table in the dining hall, please don't forget to sign them out. If your child needs to stay at aftercare AFTER their enrichment club you will be charged for aftercare ($20). 

Each club has limited seats. We will take first come first serve. You will be notified if your child gets moved to the waitlist. If you don't hear from us, it means your child is enrolled in the club and you will be charged on your parent portal. There will be no refunds for missed days of the club sessions. 

All clubs are subject to cancellation if at least 10 students are not enrolled by the start date. You will be notified if the club is cancelled. 

Clubs are open to Grades K-8 unless otherwise stated.

At MDCA, we are committed to providing quality enrichment in a safe, Christ-centered environment outside of school hours.  

All of our extended care programs are offered to students K-8th grade

Before School Care:

• Offered from 7a.m. until 7:45 a.m. when school in in session
• $5 per day or $25 if signed up for 5 days

After School Care:

• Offered from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. when school is in session
• $20 per day or $75 per week ($85 per week beginning fall 2024)

Drop-in Care:

• If you need drop-in care for your child, please notify Shea-Leah Addenbrooke via email and your child's teacher.
• Students are monitored on the sidewalk each afternoon from 3-3:15 and 2-2:15 on Wednesdays. Any student remaining after this time will be escorted to aftercare (Dining Hall) and cared for until a parent or other authorized party arrives.  
• Students not picked up by 3:30 p.m. (M, T, TH, F) or 2:30 p.m. (W) will be charged accordingly. 

A charge of $1 per minute will incurred for any students remaining after 6:00pm.
