Description
The middle school Bible teacher must be a member of a congregation of the Churches of Christ. The teacher must be able to communicate effectively through a relational approach striking a balance between textual studies and application. The middle school Bible teacher is a part of the secondary faculty and reports to the secondary principal. All members of the Bible department are expected to contribute to chapel and other spiritual development activities and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-Member of a congregation of the Churches of Christ
-Exhibits a strong faith and exemplary lifestyle
-Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Bible or theology. (Other degrees from a Christian college or university may be considered)
-Experience using classroom technology, electronic resources, programs, and platforms
-Ability to accept direction and professional development
-Experience working with youth
-Ability to exercise good judgment
-Must submit to a background check
-Must be able to establish and maintain effective professional relationships
