Secondary Homeschool Program

Most practice and game times take place after MDCA school hours.

Classes take place during MDCA school hours every weekday.

• Band (available to students in grades 8-12)
• Chorus (available to students in grades 9-12)

 

• Applicant must be considered a full-time homeschool student and registered with his or her county of residence to qualify for this program unless the parent is awarded and utilizes the Personalized Education Program (PEP) scholarship to pay the program fees.
• Current MDCA students who withdraw or are dismissed are ineligible for the program. Former MDCA students must have been homeschooled for at least one year prior to applying. Any appeal to this policy must be presented to the Homeschool Admission Committee.
• Under Florida Statute 1006.15(3)(a), a student must maintain a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for interscholastic athletic competition. The FHSAA does not have the authority to provide waivers of the minimum GPA requirement.
• Homeschool students are required to attend Bible class at MDCA one day per week during any season in which they are participating in an activity or sport.

Sideline Cheer: 4/1/26 (for the 26-27 school year)
