MDCA Guidance

The Guidance Counselor’s role is to aid secondary students in discovering and cultivating their abilities to the fullest by exploring strengths, weaknesses, and interests through assessment and course selection. Guidance counselors work with students to set goals beyond high school and plan coursework to prepare students to achieve their greatest potential. Counselors strive to assist students in developing overall health and well being through a variety of individual and group approaches.
