Why Mount Dora Christian Academy?

MDCA Sports Complex Groundbreaking

Over 700 students, parents, MDCA staff members, and community leaders gathered this morning on the campus of Mount Dora Christian Academy to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for the school’s new 4.5 million dollar sports complex. MDCA Honors Local First Responders

Last Friday night, first responders from Mount Dora Police Department, Mount Dora Fire Department, and Lake EMS were the guests of honor for MDCA’s first home football game.  The attendees were acknowledged at various points all throughout the evening and, at halftime, each department was presented with a banner signed by MDCA students and faculty.

Mount Dora Christian Academy is pleased to announce the induction of two students and one faculty member into Florida Senior Beta Club Leadership. In November, 7th grader Hannah Leto was elected president of the Junior Beta Club, and in January Junior Christian Abbate was elected President of Senior Beta for the State of Florida. Media

Diana Grubbs Receives Special Toys for Tots Award

Each year Diana Grubbs dedicates much of her time promoting and collecting items for Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots benefits over 12,500 children who are not able to
