36th Annual Boyd Scholarship Dinner @ Mount Dora Christian Academy Gymnasium | Mount Dora | Florida | United States

You are cordially invited to attend the 36th Annual Boyd Scholarship Dinner on Saturday, February 24 at 6:00 p.m. in the Brackett Gymnasium.  The Boyd Scholarship Dinner is named in honor of the late Orvel Boyd, who served as President of this institution from 1952 to 1981, and his wife, Mildred, who served as a teacher and principal. Since the first dinner in 1982, more than 500 MDCA students have received scholarships, thanks to the generosity of those who donate at the dinner.

The theme of this year’s dinner is “Building Faith through Athletics” and will feature Coach Steven Hayes and Coach Sara Harper as guest speakers. In addition, there will be a Quilt Auction and a Silent Auction to help raise funds for the Boyd Scholarship.

Tickets are free, but seating is limited and reservations are encouraged. Enjoy a catered meal, a quilt & item auction, and discover the variety of ways you can support the Academy and Children’s Home. For more information contact VP of Development Tim Deem at 352-729-9015 or tim.deem@mdcacademy.org.
