Why Mount Dora Christian Academy?

Football Senior Night Celebration!

On Friday night, we honor our graduating seniors who play football, serve as water girls, and work on the production team for MDCA. Congratulations to the class of 2017!    

P is for Pig!

This week Mrs. Nichol’s class studied and celebrated the letter “P”! Students ate pancakes, popped popcorn and even got to pet a Pig named Jack!

STEM in Mrs. Swearingen’s Class

Mrs. Swearingen’s 4th grade class brought to life the concepts of main idea and supporting details in a STEM experiment. Groups of students were asked to build a structure that would support a marshmallow. Each group was provided with 20 dry spaghetti noodles, 3 yards of tape and some yarn.

Leadership Class Leads Elementary Chapel

Coach Hayes and Miss Hill’s Leadership classes spent the morning in chapel singing songs with Elementary Students.

Craft Studio Art Projects

Mrs. Moser’s Craft Studio Art class began the year planning a project, deconstructing pallet boards, sanding the boards, painting and decorating their pieces to create individual wall decor.
